Facilities

Set up a Fitness Center orientation to get an in depth look at our fitness floor, guided by one of our fitness professionals. We will introduce you to each of our machines to make sure that you know how to use them properly, safely, and effectively. The treadmills, bicycles, ellipticals, steppers, weight machines, and more are all covered in this one-on-one tour.

In addition to our state-of-the-art Fitness Center, Elite Sports Club-Brookfield also houses a full sport court, Exhale yoga studio, and a Gravity personal training room.

Personal Training Director

Luke has a B.S in Kinesiology from UW-Milwaukee, is an American Council of Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, as well as an ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach. He is also a certified Spin, Les Mills Body Pump, and TRX instructor and specializes in lifestyle management and functional training. Luke enjoys playing basketball and baseball, spending time with his wife and 2 children (Owen & Makayla), coaching their various activities, and camping. He believes that "success and happiness are choices. Every day you decide what to wear, eat, whether or not to exercise, if you are going to be happy, and how you are going to approach the day. Through a little determination, thought, and preparation, you can achieve any level of success and happiness in your health and life, but it all starts with a choice." Luke started his career in 1999 and has been with Elite Sports Clubs since 1999.
Alex Shapsis Elite Fitness Director Alex Shapsis
Fitness Director

Alex has a Military Academy B.S in Physical Education & Fitness Management, is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) member, an International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) member, a Certified Personal Trainer, and a State Board Certified Massage Therapist. He is also a certified Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Kettlebell, Spin, Bosu Ball, Reebok Core Board, and TRX instructor and specializes in weight loss, endurance training, and functional training. Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, Sasha. He believes that "if you have a goal and you really want to achieve it, it is always possible." Alex started his career in 1995 and has been with Elite Sports Clubs since 2000.

Small Group Training

Elite Sports Clubs offers many group training options to its members which can often be more affordable than individual personal training. Training with a small group provides a more social environment where you are held accountable for your fitness routine. Some group training programs are as small as 2 people, but others may be as large as 12 people. At Elite we want to make sure we provide exactly what our members are looking for, and therefore we are continually developing new group training programs.


Small Group Training Sessions:

These new small group 6-week sessions are designed to better fit your life. The participating small group programs all start and finish in the same week. It is now easy to switch programs without missing any classes. In between certain sessions are "Try It Weeks" where you can try a small group before committing to the entire session. Session breaks are for make-ups & specialized holiday training. Most of these training classes tend to focus on use of the TRX Suspension Training System or Functional Training methods.

Try It Week: January 13-January 19, 2013
Session I: January 20-March 2, 2013
Session II: March 3-April 20, 2013
Spring Break: March 31-April 6, 2013
Session III: April 21-June 1, 2013


Elite Signature Training:

TABATA-Tabatas are 20 seconds of high intensity intervals with 10 seconds of rest repeated for 4 minutes. this cycle is repeated for multiple sessions. Tabata is for people who like their workouts hard and fast!
KICKBOXING/BOXING-A group training experience that is an amazing stress release! Torch fat and tone every inch of your body all while you improve your posture, core strength and coordination.
BARRE FUSION-Integrates the fat burning format of interval training, muscle shaping techniques of isometrics, and the elongating principles of dance conditioning. Utilize all your major muscles, reshape your whole body and improve your posture. The fusion portion incorporates traditional Pilates and a mix of traditional strength movements.
ADVANCED PILATES-Flexibility, strength and endurance are the fundamentals of pilates. Advanced Pilates takes it to the next level. Adding weights and exercises that will test your core and give you the ultimate feel-good full-body pilates workout.

Junior Fitness & Nutrition

Policies:

Elite Sports Clubs prides itself on being a family-friendly club. And in doing so we strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for both our youth and adult members. Please see our Youth Access GuidelinesYouth Access Areas and Junior Drop-Off Code of Conduct for detailed instructions in regards to youth at Elite Sports Clubs.


Junior Hours:

During the following hours junior members ages 10-16 are allowed to use the fitness center and multi-sport courts after completing TNT (under age 15) or a free fitness orientation (ages 15+).

Monday-Friday
Saturday & Sunday

3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
12:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Teen Nutrition & Training (TNT):

Elite Juniors Ages 10-14*
TNT is required for early entry into the Fitness Center. This comprehensive program will teach young members safety & fitness center etiquette, exercise routines, healthy eating, proper use of weights & cardiovascular equipment, etc. Upon completion of TNT graduates can workout in the Fitness Center during normal junior hours. 3 one-on-one private sessions with a TNT personal trainer, $99. Semi-private sessions may also be arranged at a discounted rate.
* Juniors 15 years or older are required to take a FREE fitness orientation.

Personal Training & Sport-Specific Training

Junior Personal Training teaches juniors the importance of strength training and general conditioning at an early age. Our certified personal trainers customize fitness programs for the junior member's specicfic needs and abilities. Sport-specific training is also available.

Camps & Lessons

Seasonal camps, often referred to as "Scamp," are offered at Elite Sports Clubs. These camps typically occur over winter break, spring break, and summer.

Nutrition & Diet

"HELP" Healthy Eating for Life Program

"HELP" or the Healthy Eating for Life Program is a youth dietary program designed to address needed changes in family eating patterns for positive outcome, using 2010 USDA Dietary Guidelines. Nutritionally balanced diet plans are included for meals and snacks for the whole family. Body Mass Index calculations before and after program.

Ask the Dietitian

Our Dietitian has "office hours!" Just drop in and discuss your dietary concerns freely. No sign up needed, all are welcome. Great for new members, and Exercise is Medicine members. See the Fitness & Nutrition Calendar for days and dates.

Pilates

Pilates is a form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement. Modification is the key to Pilates exercise success. All exercises are developed with modifications that can make a workout both safe as well as challenging for a person at any level.

Pilates mat classes are free to members. We also offer Pilates personal training on a limited basis.
