We are a family, and a family club. Elite strives to provide you and your children with an enjoyable and safe environment to pursue your family's health, fitness and recreational goals. We encourage the use of the club by all members of the family and offer plenty of age-appropriate activities, plus a variety of different events and programs for our youth members.
Playroom

All Elite playrooms are free for children on an Elite Family Membership. Elite Sports Clubs playrooms allow you to pursue your own health and fitness goals while your children are welcomed into a fun, safe environment. Our caretakers are experienced and infant/child CPR certified so that you feel confident your kids are in good hands.

Drop Off:

Elite kids enjoy the comfort and activity of the playroom while parents may leave the club to run errands, shop or dine. Parents sign in as usual, then record cell numbers, emergency contacts, and signature in the Drop Off book and you're on your way. Please see the playroom staff for rates and restrictions.


  • It's my first time! What do I do?
  • When you arrive in the playroom, you will be greeted by one of our staff and asked to sign in your child(ren) in our binder. You may give any special instructions to the attendant about your child, which will be written on our white board.


  • Is there a time limit for the playroom?
  • Yes. Children, ages 1-7, are allowed two hours per day. Infants are required to have a reservation and allowed 1 and 1/2 hours per day.


  • What happens if I am late to pick up my child?
  • Whether you stay in the club or do DROP OFF, a $5 fee will be added to your account for a late pick up.


  • What should I bring for my child?
  • If your child is in diapers, we ask that you bring extra diapers, wipes and an extra set of clothes. If your child is potty-training, we ask that you bring extra clothing in case something gets soiled You may also bring a sippycup, bottle, or pacifier. Please label ALL of your belongings. You may also bring a snack for your child. Snack time is at 10:00am every day. We ask that you do not bring peanut products, as we are a peanut free zone.


  • Where should I keep my child's things while they are in the playroom?
  • We have coat racks for hanging coats and jackets and we have cubbies that you can put your child's cups, bottles, smaller items, etc. in, in both the nursery and playroom.


  • What can't I bring for my child?
  • We ask that you do not let your child bring any personal items from home, for example, money, gum, weapon-like objects, etc. If your child brings anything electronic, please make sure it is labeled with your child's name. Elite Sports Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.


  • How does the playroom deal with allergies?
  • If your child has dietary restrictions due to food allergies, please advise the staff of the nature of the allergy. We will make note of it on our white board. We are a peanut free zone, and do not allow peanut products in the playroom.


  • What should I do if my child is sick?
  • If your child is sick, we ask that you do NOT bring him/her to the playroom. For the health and safety of our children and families, children who are ill, will NOT be allowed in the playroom. If symptoms of illness i.e. rash, severe cough, nasal discharge, diarrhea, fever, are detected during a child's stay in the playroom, the parent(s) will be summoned to pick up the child.


  • How does the playroom staff manage behavioral issues and discipline?
  • Time outs, redirection and positive reinforcement are utilized when a child is exhibiting inappropriate behavior towards playmates, members, staff and playroom belongings.


  • What kind of summer programming does Elite offer for my child?
  • Elite Sports Clubs offer a variety of summer programming for kids of all ages. In addition to monthly special events and parties, we offer SCAMP (summer camp), swim club, Quickstart Tennis, tennis camps, swim lessons, Petite Elite (preschool), and Taekwondo.



Kid's Playroom Rules:

  1. Only use kind words.
  2. No hitting other kids.
  3. Use indoor voices.
  4. Treat Elite's belongings with respect.
  5. No running in the club.

Fine Arts

Elite Sports Club-River Glen is now offering a new series of arts programming for kids, which bundles a series of high quality music and dance training along with its existing sports and fitness offerings. This program offers piano, voice, and dance lessons all under one roof through a variety of classes and private lessons for children ages infant through high school. We believe in making life easier for kids and adults who participate in lots of different activities but would love to save time and stay in the neighborhood to do it. Our relationship with experts like those from Mozart’s Gym and Kennedy Dance Company enables us to provide top-notch training from pros who have years of experience in their field. Junior Fitness & Nutrition

Policies:

Elite Sports Clubs prides itself on being a family-friendly club. And in doing so we strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for both our youth and adult members. Please see our Youth Access Guidelines for detailed instructions in regards to youth at Elite Sports Clubs.


Junior Hours:

During the following hours junior members ages 10-16 are allowed to use the fitness center and multi-sport courts after completing TNT (under age 15) or a free fitness orientation (ages 15+).

3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
12:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Teen Nutrition & Training (TNT):

Elite Juniors Ages 10-14, Juniors 15 years or older are required to take a FREE fitness orientation.

TNT is required for early entry into the Fitness Center. This comprehensive program will teach young members safety & fitness center etiquette, exercise routines, healthy eating, proper use of weights & cardiovascular equipment, etc. Upon completion of TNT graduates can workout in the Fitness Center during normal junior hours.

Group Sessions Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:00 pm: You may start at anytime, Free for Members
Individual Sessions: By Appointment 3-one hour sessions with Fitness Specialist, $120

Personal Training & Sport-Specific Training

Junior Personal Training teaches juniors the importance of strength training and general conditioning at an early age. Our certified personal trainers customize fitness programs for the junior member's specicfic needs and abilities. Sport-specific training is also available through our Athletic Movement & Performance program. More information on the AMP program is available via this online brochure.

Camps & Lessons

Seasonal camps, often referred to as "Scamp," are offered at Elite Sports Clubs. These camps typically occur over winter break, spring break, and summer.

Nutrition & Diet

"HELP" Healthy Eating for Life Program

"HELP" or the Healthy Eating for Life Program is a youth dietary program designed to address needed changes in family eating patterns for positive outcome, using 2010 USDA Dietary Guidelines. Nutritionally balanced diet plans are included for meals and snacks for the whole family. Body Mass Index calculations before and after program.

Ask the Dietitian

Our Dietitian has "office hours!" Just drop in and discuss your dietary concerns freely. No sign up needed, all are welcome. Great for new members, and Exercise is Medicine members. See the Fitness & Nutrition Calendar for days and dates.

Birthday Parties

Elite Sports Club Birthday Parties are an affordable and fun way to celebrate your birthday or your child's birthday. Members and non-members can host parties at any of the Elite Sports Clubs. Besides all the amentities of the club, guided games & activites are also provided. We offer a variety of options and add-ons to suit your needs.
