Group Exercise Classes (Brookfield)

Elite Sports Clubs offers over 200 FREE Group Exercise classes a week. Group Exercise is included complimentary with every membership. Each class offers a variety from class to class and between instructors. Elite Sports Clubs' classes provide a sociable, yet motivating atmosphere. Through our 5 different categories of Group Exercise classes, members can get a full-body workout throughout the week without ever going into the fitness center. Consult an instructor or personal trainer for recommendations.

Cardio

CYCLE

One of the best cardio workouts ever! This is an instructor led stationary spin bike class for all levels of fitness. Climb, lift, sprint and surge on the bike to motivating instruction and music.

ZUMBA

Are you ready to party yourself into shape?  Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party.  Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  It’s easy to do, effective, and totally exhilirating.

KICKBOXING

Melt away the pounds in this cardio kickboxing class that uses no-contact kick and punch combinations.  A challenging cardiovascular workout that is fun and action-packed.  Also great for improving coordination and footwork.

BOOT CAMP

A total body workout that is both cardiovascular and strengthening. The class uses plyometrics, calisthenics and agility training to give you the results that you've been looking for.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

This class offers a constantly changing mix of cardio, strength, and flexibility training ideal for the actively aging population.  A variety of equipment is used during the strength component that includes machines, free weights, and balls.  The cardio is performed on treadmills, bikes, or ellipticals.  Social interaction is a strong component of this class.  


H2O BLAST

This joint-friendly, shallow water workout includes calisthenics style movements with variations of upper and lower body resistance moves using water dumbbells or noodles.  Members march, jog, and ski in the water to create resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance, and flexibility.  Each instructor uses their creativity to keep the pace moving and the activities interesting.

BODYATTACK™

A sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Our instructors and powerful music motivate you towards your fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

This is a quick in-and-out class with an efficiently organized “anything goes” workout that burns off the calories while toning up the muscles.  Jumping, jogging, ladder drills, or kickboxing may be included.

Strength

SCULPT

Get your body into shape with high repetition exercises using low resistance dumbbells, bands, body bars, and medicine balls.  This class works every major muscle group for a full-body workout, before winding down with abdominals and flexibility.  This class has a 60% lower and 40% upper body split.  

BODYPUMP™

An exercise concept that works every major muscle group in a complete workout ideal for men and women, beginners through experienced exercisers. This weight workout uses barbells with adjustable weights and is set to motivating music directed by only certified Body Pump™ instructors.

NEW ENERGY STRENGTH

This class will help you add weights and strength work into your current routine.  This class is great if you’re new to exercise, as it is easy to follow.  Movements are done slow and controlled, with balls, bands, weights, and bosu balls.  Activities of daily living are emphasized.

Looking for a short, sharp workout that will inspire you to the next level of fitness? This 30 minute workout focuses on the core and combines the energy of group fitness with the direction of personal training!

AB-SOLUTION

This is an intensive and effective 20 minute class targeting the abdominal region using a variety of fitness equipment. Get ready to learn proper technique for ab work and try new exercises to enrich your abdominal routine.

Mind/Body

PILATES MAT I

This class teaches awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, utilizing the deep torso muscles of the core.  Controlled movements using the 18 beginner-level mat exercises help to build flexibility, core strength and coordination.  Static stretching components are incorporated throughout class.

Progressive Pilates Mat Photo

PILATES MAT II

This class will include new exercises that are part of the full Pilates repertoire.  More advanced options are introduced, that will build on the exercises learned in the Pilates Mat I class.  Magic circles, resistance bands, foam rollers, and pilates balls may be included. 

Power Yoga Photo

POWER YOGA

This class is a progressive yoga taught with an athletic approach holding poses longer and adding inversions that include balance and core strengthening exercises. Power yoga will strengthen and define each and every muscle in your body using dynamic flowing asanas.

HOT YOGA

This class features an invigorating and challenging series of flowing postures done in a heated room usually maintained at a temperature of 85-100 degrees. A vigorous yoga session at this temperature makes the body very warm and therefore more flexible while also deeply detoxifying the body.

VINYASA YOGA

This class features an energetic, creative, full spectrum vinyasa flow designed to build strength, stamina, and balance. A dynamic flow of postures synchronized with movement and breath creates a more balancing effect.

This class unites the body, mind and breath while strengthening muscles, increasing flexibility and stamina, developing proper body alignment, improving concentration and increasing energy.

Beginner Yoga Photo

BEGINNER YOGA

This class features deeply relaxing yoga with the assistance of props to support the body in releasing stress, tension and supporting of the body. Anyone can benefit from this practice, which helps to increase range of motion and develop inner awareness. Emphasis is on deep relaxation throughout class, great for anyone who wants to slow down.

This class uses the full Pilates repertoire, as practiced in the Pilates Mat II class. Traditional sculpting and core exercises are added to make this a great full-body workout.
