Group Exercise Classes (Mequon)

Elite Sports Clubs offers over 200 FREE Group Exercise classes a week. Group Exercise is included complimentary with every membership. Each class offers a variety from class to class and between instructors. Elite Sports Clubs' classes provide a sociable, yet motivating atmosphere. Through our 5 different categories of Group Exercise classes, members can get a full-body workout throughout the week without ever going into the fitness center. Consult an instructor or personal trainer for recommendations.

Cardio

CYCLE

One of the best cardio workouts ever! This is an instructor led stationary spin bike class for all levels of fitness. Climb, lift, sprint and surge on the bike to motivating instruction and music.

STEP & ABS

A fabulous step class which ends with an awesome ab workout!

ZUMBA

Are you ready to party yourself into shape?  Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party.  Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  It’s easy to do, effective, and totally exhilirating.  

BOOT CAMP

A total body workout that is both cardiovascular and strengthening. The class uses plyometrics, calisthenics and agility training to give you the results that you've been looking for.

20/20/20

This class is an all-in-one workout. 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength, and 20 minutes of abs and stretch.

POWER MAX

This is one of Lynn Von Rueden's signature classes!! Class is broken into 4 x 15 min segments of strength and cardio for an overall exercise experience.

H2O BLAST

This joint-friendly, shallow water workout includes calisthenics style movements with variations of upper and lower body resistance moves using water dumbbells or noodles.  Members march, jog, and ski in the water to create resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance, and flexibility.  Each instructor uses their creativity to keep the pace moving and the activities interesting.

Take your H20 Blast water workout to a whole new level with a cardio and strength focused blast PLUS... You'll love this pool class with a new attitude!

MAKING WAVES

Take the plunge and enjoy a 50 minute workout in the water as you move to motivating music! This cardio-focused class also incorporates resistance and flexibility training. C'mon in and make some waves!!

Body Combat is an energetic class which is inspired by a number of different disciplines and martial arts such as karate, taekwondo, tai chi and boxing. Combat focuses on upper body conditioning, toning of your arms, chest and abdominals and includes some lower body exercises, as well as improving cardiovascular fitness giving you a full body workout.

This class is held out in the fitness area, on the treadmills and/or ellipticals. The instructor may take you up hills, on runs, sprints, strength phases, or even endurance challenges. You will have the opportunity to use speed and incline to challenge yourself through each class.

Mind/Body

PILATES MAT I

This class teaches awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, utilizing the deep torso muscles of the core.  Controlled movements using the 18 beginner-level mat exercises help to build flexibility, core strength and coordination.  Static stretching components are incorporated throughout class.

Power Yoga Photo

POWER YOGA

This class is a progressive yoga taught with an athletic approach holding poses longer and adding inversions that include balance and core strengthening exercises. Power yoga will strengthen and define each and every muscle in your body using dynamic flowing asanas.

HOT YOGA

This class features an invigorating and challenging series of flowing postures done in a heated room usually maintained at a temperature of 85-100 degrees. A vigorous yoga session at this temperature makes the body very warm and therefore more flexible while also deeply detoxifying the body.

VINYASA YOGA

This class features an energetic, creative, full spectrum vinyasa flow designed to build strength, stamina, and balance. A dynamic flow of postures synchronized with movement and breath creates a more balancing effect.

This class unites the body, mind and breath while strengthening muscles, increasing flexibility and stamina, developing proper body alignment, improving concentration and increasing energy.

Beginner Yoga Photo

BEGINNER YOGA

This class features deeply relaxing yoga with the assistance of props to support the body in releasing stress, tension and supporting of the body. Anyone can benefit from this practice, which helps to increase range of motion and develop inner awareness. Emphasis is on deep relaxation throughout class, great for anyone who wants to slow down.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Taking time to relax and renew your body is essential to living well. 

In Restorative Yoga, postures will be modified and supported with props in a sequence that will encourage relaxation. We will practice being in poses rather than doing poses.  The majority of restorative yoga poses are  practiced lying on the floor.Gentle attention will be directed toward the breath.

Get ready to strengthen, stretch and revive your muscles with an hour of early morning movement. This class welcomes all levels of experience focusing on yoga postures, dynamic asanas and breathing techniques.

This class uses the full Pilates repertoire, as practiced in the Pilates Mat II class. Traditional sculpting and core exercises are added to make this a great full-body workout.

Aqua Yoga Class Photo

Aqua Yoga

Yoga in a heated relaxing pool where the buoyancy properties of water reduce the effects of gravity. This enables the student to stretch normally—or even obtain additional 20 to 30 degrees of stretching—without loading up ankles, knees, hips, or shoulders. All ages and abilities are welcome! Swimming is not a requirement for this class.
